  Not long after ex-Manchester United defender Evra was handed the suspended 12-month jail sentence for alleged family abandonment, the former left-back took to social media to bash the French press. The 43-year-old performed an eyebrow-raising commentary to two gorillas mating – something former Chelsea star Terry found very funny.

  The former Juventus man was found guilty of abandoning his family for a two-year period, with Evra reportedly ordered to pay his wife €4,000 for moral damages and €2,000 for legal costs. He was handed the suspended sentence for allegedly failing to pay around £800,000 in alimony payments to ex-wife Sandra.
